She's 91. She recently came to visit us from Tampa. (Of course). You know you love your grandma when you take her to get a colonic. There. I said it.

This photograph is a testament to the value of mistakes. When I was shooting I metered the light behind Chere. So, when I edited this photograph, I had to compensate in order for her to be visible...it added so much depth and texture to this photo.

I know, I know. Sometimes photographs of animals get old, and are far too common. But they make me happy. When a camera is stuck in a dogs face, there's no ego interrupting its actions. Mostly you'll get curious glances and sniffs and whatnots.  I'll post your pet if you let me shoot em (with my camera).

Vic Ruggiero

I'm going to post some older photographs, but for now a few new things. This is Vic Ruggiero. An all together one-man-mad-man band. (Also the organist and vocalist for the NY based ska band, The Slackers). I took this at the Flamingo Cantina in Austin. 

Mostly I'm using this blog to motivate myself, keep track of photos and ideas i have about them. I would be sooo greatly obliged to read any comments or critism....analysi...i just made that word the plural of analysis..because it is hilarious to me!
